heres a page with more information about me, stuff i use, etc. it's on a seperate page to the index page because i dont want the index page being too large, and not many people will probably want to know the exact software i use as soon as they step onto my website, so it's here instead.

i currently code in these languages:

• rust: my fav language so far, memory safe, fast enough, actually simple error messages

• music: i cannot live without it

• pgp: amazing

• mangowc: lighter hyprland, doesnt sell on eye candy, amazing

• tor / i2p: both amazing protocols

dislikes

• windows: possibly the worst operating system experience ever

• firefox: awful, getting worse, only good when its either debloated or heavily modified

• tiktok: BIG BIG dislike. platform full of creators who only make interaction bait videos, waste of time, only good part is its funny (SOMETIMES)

• the shutdown command: who the fuck thought it would be a good idea to make the shutdown command do anything BUT turn your system off!?

• kali linux: what happens when you make a cybersecurity distro focused towards beginners that throws them into an environment with 800 tools they dont understand? same goes for any "pentesting" distro of that matter

• the internet as a whole: many pros, too many cons. the place where you are the product

• brave: jack of all trades, master of none. extremely bloated, downright dangerous tor integration

• x11: software older than 90% of its userbase, incredibly insecure, has no use case over wayland

• grub: the bootloader everyone uses and nobody likes

• irc: about as secure as sending mail by fucking pigeon

• any low level anti cheat: how to make your game as inaccessible as possible

software i use

• vim: my current text editor of choice, i love the keybindings and they have now done irreversible damage to my brain meaning i will never be able to use any other text editor

• zen browser: my fav browser, actually helps with my workflow and doesnt sell out on privacy

• zsh: my shell of choice. does everything i need, paired with an extremely big .zshrc, and uses starship for prompt

heres some stuff i use that i wouldnt call software, as it's more deeper system stuff

• gentoo linux: my favourite linux distro so far.

• mangowm: lightweight, fast, eye candy, awesome

• foot: pretty much same argument as mangowm

• waybar: basic, does the job

and heres some even DEEPER specifications about stuff i use on my computer

• filesystem: xfs because ext4 is too boring

• bootloader: GRUB (yuck) looking to switch to limine soon

• kernel: gentoo-kernel-bin until i can find time to compile my own kernel

if you care, i also use a seperate /home partition rather than have it merged with root. it's gave me a couple issues, mainly because gentoo requires a lot of storage in order to compile certain things, but other than that an upgrade from having them merged
